After graduating from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Civil Engineering, Hasan İnanç Kabadayı worked professionally for ten years. During his professional career, he had the opportunity to work at every level of his profession and in 2006 he founded Ege Yapı, a company operating in the fields of contracting and real estate development. Since its establishment, Ege Yapı has successfully carried out real estate development and contracting works of projects such as hotels, offices,residences, business centres, educational facilities, industrial facilities, mainly residential projects. Throughout his 28-year professional career, he has produced privileged projects by giving importance to innovation and quality in the real estate sector. Prioritising customer satisfaction, he pioneered many new technologies applied in the construction sector with the experience he gained in the national and international market. He has experience in the development, construction, marketing and management of projects with a total construction area of 5 million m². In addition to his thought leadership and mentorship in the sector, he regularly shares his ideas in many national and international conferences and television programmes. Born on 22 October 1986, Ms. Didem Güneş graduated from Istanbul University in 2010 with a degree in Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering double major programme. After completing her master's degree in Construction Management at Yıldız Technical University in 2011, she started her career at Enka Construction. In 2011, Güneş joined Ege Yapı and worked in many different departments and still continues to work at Ege Yapı. Didem Güneş has worked at different levels of Ege Yapı, most recently as Business Development Manager, Design and Project Development Director, Sales and Marketing Director and After Sales Customer Services Manager. She has developed and delivered many projects consisting of residential and commercial units in Istanbul and Izmir. Didem Güneş, who has many sectoral training certificates, specialises in urban transformation, sustainable design and construction and is currently the General Manager of Ege Yapı GYO.
In his 40 years of professional life, he has been involved in the processes in which approximately 3 Million M2 production and approximately 20 independent section sales have been realised. During the last 25 years of his professional life as a Senior Manager, he has worked intensively on restructuring, system building, improvement and development of existing systems related to Budget Planning and Reporting, Tax Law, Accounting, Finance, After Sales Finance and Audit under the roof of financial affairs of companies. He determined the risks that companies are likely to face while carrying out their activities and carried out studies on measures to prevent these risks. Managed the ‘Project Finance’ processes with the authorities of national and international financial institutions to ensure the financing of investments. He took part in the Investment Committee of Turkey's first Real Estate Investment Fund, which has ‘Condominium Properties’ with assets of ~150 Million USD. He is currently responsible for the group's Financial, Administrative Affairs, Legal and Information Technologies processes.
She has more than 20 years of experience in project development and investment, market research, cost estimation, feasibility analysis, urban transformation, marketing & sales, housing policy development in the real estate sector. Since 2017, she has been providing project-based consultancy services to international organisations such as the World Bank, EBRD and IFC within CRE Consulting. She is on the real estate investment committee of Repie PYŞ company with a fund size of 60 billion TL. She provides consultancy services to many housing and real estate development and urban transformation projects. She is also on the advisory board of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Istanbul Planning Agency (IPA) under the title of urban transformation and housing policies within the scope of Istanbul Vision 2050 project. She started her career as an urban designer at Atelye T. After working in various companies in the real estate sector, she worked as a research assistant at Istanbul Technical University. From 2004 until 2017, she assumed different positions in Soyak Holding Group companies. Lastly, as Business Development Manager reporting to the Board of Directors, she undertook land and project development, including urban transformation projects, and sustainability and energy efficiency management of group companies in line with the company's strategies. During this period, she took different responsibilities in the investment and development processes of a total of 8 residential projects in Istanbul and Izmir with a total investment value exceeding $1.5 billion and the development of approximately 20,000 residences and commercial units within them, and the investment and development processes of a 55,000m2 GLA and 100,000m2 construction area office project developed in the CBD in Istanbul. She also managed the project development and market analysis studies of 10,000 residences and commercial units in Gaziosmanpaşa urban transformation project. She is currently a part-time lecturer at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. She gives lectures on Real Estate Development and Investment Management in Construction Management Master's programme and on Planning and Real Estate Development in Urban Planning Bachelor's programme. She graduated with a degree in Urban and Regional Planning from ITU Faculty of Architecture. After her master's degree in urban design at ITU, she received her MBA diploma from Bilgi University. She completed her PhD on Urban Transformation and Financial Models at Mimar Sinan University. She has certificates in executive education programmes at MIT and Harvard University on real estate development, financing, sustainability, and strategy. She is involved in many NGO organisations in the real estate sector. She has publications on urban transformation, sustainability and energy efficiency, zoning and real estate legislation, housing policies.
Born on 01 January 1983 in Adana. In 2005, he received his bachelor's degree from Istanbul University, Department of Economics, in 2010 he received his master's degree from Marmara University, Department of Banking, and in 2021 he received his doctorate degree in Financial Economics from Istanbul Ticaret University, Institute of Finance. In addition, in 2004-2005, he completed the Executive MBA programme carried out in partnership with Boğaziçi University and Kavrakoğlu Consultancy. He holds a number of sectoral training certificates, especially Capital Market Activities Level 3 Licence. During the period 2002-2005, while continuing his undergraduate studies, he worked as the Director of the Research Centre at ActiveGroup and as a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Active Banking and Finance Magazine. After his military service, Mr. Sözer continued his career as an Economist at Garanti Bank between July 2006 and June 2012, during which time he conducted models and scenario analyses on the Turkish economy and risk modelling on the banking sector. In June 2012, he joined Odeabank as the Economic Research and Strategic Planning Group Manager in the team that established a bank in Turkey from scratch after 14 years. During this period, in addition to continuing to develop strategies in line with the conjuncture regarding the Turkish economy, he took part in the institutionalisation process of the bank and represented the bank on national/international platforms. Since the end of 2015, he has been working as a ‘Company Doctor’ to increase the market value of companies in Turkey and to provide access to foreign financing. With his macro and microeconomic knowledge of the global and Turkish economies and strong relationships with international financial institutions, Sözer provides comprehensive and strategic corporate financial advisory services to Turkey's leading companies, including sustainability and green transformation. Since 2020, Sözer has taken an active role as an investor in the entrepreneurship ecosystem and is also a member of the investment committee of the CMB-licensed Basefunder Crowdfunding Platform, which he founded. Apart from his professional life, Sözer is involved in the world of academia and conducts studies on finance, real sector and banking. He also gives guest lectures and trainings at various institutions and universities. In 1962, when Olivier Vidal started to study architecture at Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts de Paris (ENSBA), he had the great opportunity to work with the companion of Le Corbusier, Vladimir Bodiansky. Also, he could attend classes of a master, Jean Prouvé, at the Arts et Métiers School in Paris. He continued his studies at the renowned Polytechnic Institute of Zurich ETH. After earning his diploma, he worked on a doctorate with Professor Ronner on sustainable development in 1969.
In 1969 he created a multidisciplinary group named SOPHA where all design arenas were represented.
During the same period Olivier Vidal was teaching at the ETH Zurich as an assistant for Professor Trbuhovic, and later for professor Schaal. Olivier Vidal started teaching at UCLA in the Design Institute with Dr Nathan Shapira. Since then, Olivier has been teaching as a guest teacher in many different countries, France, Switzerland, India, UK.
Beyond his academic career Olivier designed buildings all over the world from Beijing to Rio, Los Angeles, Europe and the Persian Gulf. He was associated with Louis Khan and Kenzo Tange for the development of Abbas Abbad in Tehran. Later, he became formally associated with Kenzo Tange. He did numerous projects with IM Pei like the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris. Furthermore, he worked as a partner with other luminaries of the profession. His first large modular project was the CSH 600 school for the French ministry of education, 1000 units all over the country. A large experience in affordable housing across the world. For the last 25 years, he has been the space planner landscape Architect for the reconstruction of Beirut. He has offices in several countries. He spends half of his time in India where he has numerous projects. Olivier is multilingual, speaking French, English, German and Spanish fluently with some Italian, Farsi, and Japanese. In 1989 he created a traveling fellowship at the UCLA Architecture Department.
